It’s been 90 years of “Oh boy!” entertainment since his first appearance on Steamboat Willie which premiered on November 18, 1928. He hasn’t changed much, except now he no longer appears in black and white but as a fully colored mouse. Mickey Mouse is famous both for his distinct circular ears and being Disney’s mascot. Considered Walt Disney’s “brainchild”, he took the place of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit who was claimed by Universal Studios.

Mickey’s fan base reaches from beyond the US, where Walt Disney brought him to life, and is adored for his upbeat personality and for his funny antics. He has made appearances in films, books, shirts, mugs, games, toys, and others in Disney theme parks.

According to Fox8, Disney made a 90-second video showing his history and another video of celebrities greeting him a happy birthday, both of which were posted on Twitter.
